Released in 2021, Amy’s debut EP Growing Pains is laced with the raw emotions of heartbreak and inevitabilities of a changing life. From her darkest corners came the achy lyrics that express the tragic reality of being 18; and in love and heartbroken and happy, confused and everything else in between. A moment or a feeling can be taken apart: things that could have been different, breaking points, the hows and the why’s. Twenty year old Amy Bacon does just this by reconstructing those thoughts into the achy cheeky lyrics you'll find in her work. With all of the complexities that come with being young and confused, she aims to connect with others through the rawness of her music.

Based in Vancouver, Amy’s genre of pop, indie and alternative give her a distinct sound that flows perfectly with her writing. Her EP Growing Pains was the product of teenage love and painful growth; a forever relevant coming of age piece.
Finally, after a slight break from the studio, on November 8th Amy’s next single Strawberry Chapstick will be released. A little older now, this single will explore a sense of angst and frustration towards love. “Am I crazy or is he just dumb?” Familiarity and newness are to come with Amy’s future pieces, but still straight out of her notes app (as always).
